Hello my beautiful art‑loving friends,
If you’ve seen the now‑infamous sledding video… yes, that was me.
Yes, I really flew off a retaining wall.
And YES — my ribs are okay. They only hurt from laughing so hard I couldn’t breathe.
But something happened in that moment that I haven’t been able to shake.
As I flew (quite ungracefully) into the air, I felt something I haven’t felt in ages:
pure, unfiltered, childlike joy.
The kind that comes before self‑consciousness, before responsibility, before the weight of “adulting.”
It reminded me of why I create art in the first place.
Every abstract painting I make is a way of returning to that child — the curious one, the uninhibited one, the one who plays with color like it’s magic.
And I want to invite you back to your own childhood magic too.
So this month, I’m creating a brand‑new abstract piece inspired by that snow‑day adventure — the laughter, the chaos, the freedom, the unexpected flight over that wall — and I’m giving a print of it away.
✨ THE INNER CHILD GIVEAWAY ✨
One collector will receive my new, sledding‑inspired print.
To enter:
• Reply to this email (or comment on the social post) with a childhood play memory that still warms your heart.
• That’s it. Just share a moment of joy.
I believe that when we reconnect with the parts of ourselves that used to play — really play — something inside us gets restored. Something tender. Something essential.
And if my near‑miss with a retaining wall can inspire that?
Honestly… worth it. 😄
Thank you for being here, for supporting my art, and for joining me in this adventure of color, movement, and rediscovering the child within.
Stay playful,
Victoria 🎨❄️💙
